Rebecca Enonchong
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Rebecca Enonchong is founder and Chief Executive Officer of AppsTech, a leading global provider of enterprise application solutions. With offices on three continents, AppsTech counts clients in private and public sector across the globe and has done business in more than 50 countries.

Prior to founding AppsTech, Ms. Enonchong worked for organizations such as Oracle Corporation, the Inter-American Development Bank (IaDB) and as an independent consultant serving multinational clients.

A native of Cameroon, Enonchong has devoted much of her life to promoting African interests, both in Africa and in the U.S.

She is cofounder and Chair of ActivSpaces (African Center for Technology Innovation and Ventures), a tech incubator in Cameroon. She also cofounded ABAN (African Business Angels Network) and CAN (Cameroon Angels Network). She is an advisor to Venture Capital for Africa (VC4Africa), the largest online community dedicated to entrepreneurs and investors building companies in Africa. She has been a board member of award winning Salesforce.org since 2002. She is the patron and advisor of African IT Women, a community of young African women involved in ICTs. She served on the UNIFEM (UN Women) Global Advisory Committee on the Digital Divide and the UN ICT Task Force. Ms. Enonchong was named a Global Leader for Tomorrow (GLT) by the World Economic Forum of Davos, Switzerland, as part of an annual award that recognized outstanding leaders around the world. Black Enterprise magazine named Ms. Enonchong one of the 10 Power Women to Follow on Twitter and as one of its 2014 Women of Power. New African magazine listed Ms. Enonchong as one 50 Leading Women in Business and to its 100 Most Influential Africans in 2014 and 2016. She was a finalist for the 2013 African Digital Woman of the Year Award and was listed by Forbes Magazine as a 2014 Tech Female Founder to Watch in Africa.

The world’s first Oracle Financials Certified Professional and with over 100 Oracle certifications, Enonchong holds both a Bachelors and Masters in Economics from the Catholic University of America and is fluent in English and French. She tweets as @africatechie.
