Emile Hoogenhout, under the moniker of Behr, has played drums and bass for the past 15 years, sessioning for numerous bands within a plethora of genres. He studied in various institutions across South Africa and soon, his tastes delved into electronic music.

Emile has performed at an array of prestigious festivals and concerts across the country, where his compositions unveil a multitude of musical styles, fusing acoustic and electronic music.

Emile has taught music for over a decade, both privately and at various institutions. He’s used Ableton since 2002. He offers group and individual sessions covering music production, performance, and Max for Live; all tailored to accommodate varying levels of expertise.
