Gabriel Okeowo is a social development professional with over 10years progressive experience in the NGO sector. Gabriel background is in behavioural science (BSc. Sociology) and a Master Degree in Project Development and Implementation (MPDI). He also possesses skills and Certification in Data Processing and Management Information System (DPMIS).
Gabriel’s experience cut across social integration, human development, community development, health promotion, organisational development and promotion of public sector transparency and accountability. Gabriel has worked on development projects, with international organisations across five West African countries – Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire and led strategic development and implementation of programmes within the national association. Gabriel currently works with BudgIT as the Principal Lead, responsible for the overall organisational strategy and for managing various departments/project teams in the organisation, interface with donors, raise funds for projects, review organisational plans and budgets and oversee brand visibility strategy. Gabriel has coordinated projects with funding from Global Fund, World Bank, EU, Dutch Government, and other international foundations.
