Exhibition: Afroroutes: Africa Elsewhere
While you're exploring the Creators Studio, check out the "Afroroutes: Africa Elsewhere" exhibition - a one-of-a-kind VR experience conceived as a journey through three displaced African heritages. The aim of this exhibition is to explore the diaspora and trigger thought around various concepts: What happened with the millions of displaced African men and women? Where are their descendants living today? Did their original culture and language disappear? How did their heritage contribute to building their new countries and many more questions. You'll get a set of VR glasses and get a glimpse into past, present and future Afroroutes.

Live Poetry - "Queue to the Tap Dance"
Make sure not to miss the live poetry performance "Queue to the Tap Dance" by Kwame Write. Kwame uses abstract video with collected sounds and a live recital in Queue to the Tap Dance to create an ambience that will bridge routes and relationships between our shared and interconnected histories, geographies and sociopolitical realities. Expect a conceptual, dynamic and artistic window interrogating our sense of place with respect to the middle passage, migration politics and water biology for rethinking culture, collective memory, Afrofuturism and mythology.
