Dora B. Mawutor is a Programme Manager at the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA). For the past three years, she has been leading the organisation’s internet freedom projects. She has led the organisation in setting up Civil Society Coalitions on Internet Freedom in Benin, Ghana and Liberia. She has also led some of the organisation’s most significant research activities in the areas of media and women’s rights, and media and elections in Ghana.
Dora is an ICANN Fellow and an alumnus of the African School on Internet Governance. Her interest areas include internet freedom, women's rights online, internet governance and media research.
Before joining the MFWA, Dora worked at Strategic Communications Africa Limited based in Accra as a Senior Communications Officer and Seatec Telecoms Services Limited as a Project Coordinator and a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director.
Dora holds an MPhil Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana.
