I am pursuing a PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of Lausanne. My research is about politics and economies of scrap metal in Ghana. I have done 11 months of fieldwork in Accra's scrap metal yards including Agbogbloshie. I graduated with a BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Social Anthropology from the Graduate Institute of Geneva (IHEID). Before pursuing a PhD, I worked in London-based think-tanks Chatham House and Social Market Foundation as well as a public policy consultant in the UK and Poland.
