Michael Leventhal is a technologist and technology educator. He runs the training program at Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) in Accra, Ghana. MEST has incubated 50 technology start-ups in its network of incubators spanning the African continent. Mr. Leventhal came to Africa from Silicon Valley where he worked on a number AI hardware technologies included the Micron Automata Processor and FPGA technology for machine learning acceleration at Xilinx. Prior to coming to MEST he founded the National Collaborative Center for Robotics Education in Bamako, Mali.
