Johanna Amelie is a Berlin based indie artist, producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist who plays folk, dream-pop and indie music on international stages and festivals, sharing stages with local and international artists. The singer cites Regina Spektor and Joni Mitchell as her main influences. Her music is inviting the listeners to immerse in a very personal world of tones, stories and soundscapes. After having played more than 200 shows (from Iceland to Sicily and Ghana), J. A. has released two new singles in 2017and has just released a new studio album "Distance" – featuring collaborations with Gordon Raphael (producer of "The Strokes). Johanna Amelie organizes the monthly female artist Meet Up "V-Breakfast" - a self-created community (270 members) for female artists in Berlin who get to know each other, to create connections, to inspire each other and to help each other out professionally.
