Arnold Elton Kavaarpuo is a financial inclusion evangelist, FinTech enthusiast and published author. He is the Country Director of JUMO Ghana Limited.

Arnold is most excited by driving game-changing financial services with a focus on new delivery channels and product design and value optimization. He is skillful across a variety of channels including digital/web, mobile, direct and branch-based, as well as through partnerships with MNOs, banks and insurance companies. Arnold’s specialities include mobile loans, unsecured credit, product development, life insurance and bancassurance.

Prior to exploring the digital finance space at JUMO, Arnold was heading the Unsecured Lending Unit of afb Ghana Plc where he oversaw the development and growth of a 100% unsecured loans product for the informal sector as well as a direct debit only payday loans product. 

Arnold also championed alternative distribution models for life insurance in Ghana. In 2011, he was a key member of the team that developed and launched the first bancassurance product in Ghana. He also worked to develop informal sector insurance. At the core, he has always been a warrior in the world of granting quality access to the financially excluded in our society.

Arnold holds an MBA in Global Business from CASS Europe, Certificate in Digital Marketing from Columbia Business School and a BA in Geography and Rural Development from KNUST.
