Elizabeth Mwashuma

Elizabeth Mwashuma is a public health informatics researcher with keen interest in interoperability of digital health information systems, primary and community healthcare information systems, research and development, and application of data science technologies in solving world's most pressing challenges in healthcare. She also has vast experience in qualitative and quantitative research. Majorly, she has conducted impact evaluations of digital health systems in disease surveillance, immunization systems, health facility level EMRs, community based information systems and assessments of maternal & child care systems

She has worked on various health projects with ministries of health in Kenya, Liberia, Lebanon and recently Tanzania.

She holds an MSc in Applied Computing, Major in Health Informatics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Kenyatta University.
