He is also the founder of SokoPlace a Logistics and Mobility platform for e-commerce and merchants in the African Marketplace. Declan Magero is a seasoned Entrepreneur, Researcher, Investment and Management Consultant with extensive multi-sectoral experience spanning Private Sector, Non-Profit, For-Profit and Government sector. He has held Senior positions in multiple development projects and organizations such as UNESCO, Kip McGrath Education Centres, among others. Declan also advises start-ups through outfits such as Startupbootcamp, Finnovation Africa Series, VC4Africa, EdTech East Africa and Ongoza Forum among others. He serves on the Boards of Advisory of several SMEs and Start-up companies in Africa. He holds an MBA and a BA in Philosophy.
