Shoks Mzolo is programme manager at KAS Media Africa, where he is responsible for, among other things, AfricaBlogging. His background is steeped in journalism and corporate research. Shoks has over the years written for such titles as Destiny, Financial Mail, Finweek, Mail & Guardian and in-flight magazines mSafiri, Peolwane and Sawubona. He also filed for foreign outlets, from Kenya to the United States and Singapore, and dabbled in broadcasting. While working as a journalist - covering business and economics (with a dash of politics), and doing a bit of arts & culture and travel beats - Shoks got to travel Africa. Insights gained from that phase came in handy when he moved to KAS Media Africa.
