Agya Koo Nimo and his wife Kyeiwaa like pineapples. Every morning they form part of their healthy breakfast. They mainly buy organic and fair trade certified products at a premium price, and therefore enjoy a healthy and quality product. One day, their child Paapa asks them how such a heavenly fruit could ever find its way to their home. They decide to follow up on this issue: Who is the creator of this fantastic product? They start an inquiry, moving up the value chain… to the local supermarket owner, the wholesaler, the transporter, the processor and finally the farmer(s) who supplied the pineapples. At least that’s the plan. But how can he really trace back where the product comes from?

In this interactive theatre play, the audience will assist the family to find out about the obstacles in tracing an agricultural product. They will accompany their search using their own smartphones.
